Description
On his twenty-first birthday, Anodos discovers, in a desk inherited after his father's death, a fairy who introduces him to an enchanted world. Now, the young man needs to be part of the Land of Fairies and walk along trails that will lead him to discoveries, fights and to know himself and the forces that govern all worlds. With Phantastes, George MacDonald was one of the pioneers to write in the fantasy genre, inspiring several other works that would follow, such as The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings.
